Acid tar is a resinous substance, which in most cases has a viscous structure. They are obtained as a result of sulfuric acid purification of petroleum distillates, oil residues, in the production of sulfonate additives, in the sulfonation and purification of oils, paraffins, kerosene and gas oil fractions and other petroleum products from aromatic hydrocarbons. Until recently, this type of waste was temporarily accumulated in specially designated areas - acid tar storage ponds, which were located near the oil refinery, which had a significant impact on the environment. The paper considers the process of formation of acid tar on the example of the production of sulfonate additives. The composition of the mixture of acid tar and sulfonate sludge was evaluated, and the hazard class of this type of waste was determined. Methods of utilization of acid tar are studied and a method of utilization of acid tar for the considered production is proposed.

The paper presents the results on obtainment of oligoalkylates from the fluid reforming fractions containing aromatic hydrocarbons and the application of obtained products with polyolephines in the composition of composites, as well as on the study of their thermo-physical parameters. The composition of obtained composites was identified using IKS, SEM, RFA and other methods. The change of thermo-physical parameters of the initial polyolephine matrix was specified in each case. Via differential scanning colorimetry it was defined that in the future these composites may be used as various polymer materials including those with phase transition.

The purification of a hydrotreated gas oil by liquid-liquid extraction with N-methylpyrrolidone as solvent has been studied. The results showed that this method, under appropriate experimental conditions, has reduced sulphur content of the gas oil from 174 ppm to 28 ppm, nitrogen content has decreased from 58 ppm to 15 ppm, aromatics content has diminished from 27.1 % to 13.8 % and the polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons were totally extracted. The refined gas oil obtained can be used to produce clean diesel fuel for the environment.

. In connection with the emerging demand for gasoline solvent with a low content of aromatic hydrocarbons we carrier out the analysis of intermediate products obtained in JSC " ANHK " suitable for the producing of the solvent. The most suitable for the separation of the fraction are gaso line fractions producing from the hydrogenation product of the hydrocracking of light vacuum gas oil and the hydrogenation product of high conversion hydrogenation of the heavy middle distillate frac tions. We performed work on the recovery of a narrow fraction of gasoline solvent and its tests for compliance with the requirements.
