With the development of social economy and the improvement of science and technology, digital video on the Internet is increasing rapidly, and it has become a new force to promote the development of the times. Most of these videos are stored in the memory, which poses a great challenge to the research and development of the system. The reader service system is an important part of library service. The library uses it to collect information resources, not just for service and work. The document combines the video of library service, the analysis of video recovery and video software requirements of digital library, puts forward the design goal and conception of video search, and puts forward a foundation. From the video data of digital library, video retrieval experiments are gradually carried out. These experimental results show that the number of enhanced dynamic clustering algorithm increases to ensure the complexity of the image.

This chapter introduces OpenDLib, a digital library service system developed at ISTI-CNR for easing the creation and management of digital libraries. It discusses the motivations underlying the development of such a system and describes it by presenting (i) the characteristics of the huge kind of content it is capable of managing, (ii) the set of functions it natively provides its digital libraries with, (iii) the powerful and flexibility of its component-oriented architectural paradigm as a key feature for addressing different application scenarios, and (iv) the technologies the system development relies on. The authors hope that understanding the OpenDLib foundational principles will not only inform stakeholders and decision makers of the features implemented by this existing system, but also assist researchers and application developers in the understanding of the issues, and their possible solutions, that arises when building digital library systems aimed at serving such a broad class of application scenarios.

This study represents a framework that digital libraries can leverage to increase usage and visibility. The adopted qualitative research aims to examine a digital engagement strategy for the libraries in the University of Ghana (UG). Data is collected from participants (digital librarians) who are key stakeholders of digital library service provision in the University of Ghana Library System (UGLS). The chapter reveals that digital library services included rare collections, e-journal, e-databases, e-books, microfilms, e-theses, e-newspapers, and e-past questions. Additionally, the research revealed that the digital library service patronage could be enhanced through outreach programmes, open access, exhibitions, social media, and conferences. Digital librarians recommend that to optimize digital library services, literacy programmes/instructions, social media platforms, IT equipment, software, and website must be deployed. In conclusion, a DES helps UGLS foster new relationships, connect with new audiences, and establish new or improved brand identity.
