The standard of OSEK/VDX which used in the embedded operating system of car was analysized, and based on this, to select the open-source real-time operating system μC/OS-II as a operation system that will be loaded in the control chip. After that the kernel structure of the μC/OS-II was analysized, and modified the kernel of the system in accordance with OSEK/VDX standards, then translated the μC/OS-II system to the LPC2131 development board for the follow-up application development laid the foundation.

In this paper, we discuss the applications of UC/OS-II and DSP(digital signal processor) in area of harmonic analyzing. In this research, the FFT algorithm is employed, and the realization of FFT on DSP is discussed. The whole system is based on UC/OS-II operation system, which coordinate all the tasks about the system. The system based on DSP+ARM and UC/OS-II improve the reliability and real time quality. The hardware design and software design are proposed in this paper, with flow chart and part of routine codes shown.

To get over the problem that only one type of filter cannot meet the requests of field monitoring, a rotating machine monitoring system that can reconstruct filter type was developed based on ARM, DSP and FPAA. The dual-CPU consisted of ARM and DSP was used as the computing and control core of the system; FPAA was used to achieve that the filter type can be reconfigured; RT-Linux was imported as embedded real-time operation system, which achieved hiberarchy design of software and enhanced the operational stability and real-time performance of task assignment. Put into practice, it was confirmed that the system was effective.

Abstract As the competition among international container terminals has become increasingly fierce, every port is striving to maintain the competitive edge and provide satisfactory services to port users. By virtue of information technology enhancement, many efforts to raise port competitiveness through an advanced operation system are actively being made, and judging from the viewpoint of investment effect, these efforts are more preferable than infrastructure expansion and additional equipment acquisition. Based on simulation, this study has tried to prove that RFID-based real-time location system (RTLS) data collection and dynamic operation of transfer equipment brings a positive effect on the productivity improvement and resource utilization enhancement. Moreover, this study on the demand for the real-time data for container terminal operation have been made, and operation processes have been redesigned along with the collection of related data, and based on them, simulations have been conducted. As a result of them, much higher productivity improvement could be expected.

Motion control education in engineering requires hands-on experiments to catch the concept of feedback control, but experimental apparatus for motion control experiments is expensive, complex in mechanism and is hard to use it in general. In this paper, we develop an easy-to-use and economic experimental apparatus for motion control education using an open-source free operation system LINUX and a free real-time kernel RTAI. The developed apparatus is reliable in mechanical structure, and fast enough to realize 100 microsecond sampling time for real-time control purpose, and so it can test conventional PID control logics, various input shaping control logics and advanced motion control logics with cheap prices. The validity of the developed motion control apparatus is demonstrated by testing P, PD control logics and ZV input shapers experimentally.
