Worries about the diffusion of fake news and its impact on society have grown considerably in the last few years. Researchers in different fields have recognized the need to better understand the reasons behind its spread and identify strategies to combat it. This article resumes the main results achieved in different fields of knowledge, to define a theoretical framework. We performed a systematic review of recent literature (2013–2018), which showed that even if the concept of “fake news” has attracted a great number of researchers there still isn’t a clear definition of the phenomenon nor a plan on how to combat it. The results suggest the need for education and schools to promote programme and policies that may support pupils in recognizing and defending themselves from fake news at national and international levels.

While Black immigrants share some of the racialized experiences of native-black Americans, they also have distinctive experiences. U.S. education presents an important environment to investigate these experiences as immigrants have the fastest growing child population and these children are increasingly entering the education system. This paper engages a systematic review of the growing body of literature centering on Black immigrants across the U.S. P-20 pipeline. Findings reveal that Black immigrants are presented narrowly in terms of the frameworks and research designs used to examine their educational experiences, pointing to a larger issue of a single narrative concerning this group.

Geography as a school subject is facing a crisis of identity. Student interest in geography has decreased and the lack of solutions for improving geography’s image opened a research gap. The aim of the paper is to summarize the knowledge and understanding from the pupils’ perspective and prepare the ground for conducting similar research in Czechia. Getting the pupils’ perspective is crucial for shaping the subject in a more favorable direction and in defending geography’s place in the education system. Subsequently it creates concrete arguments for defending and stabilizing. The author searched for studies using the WoS and Scopus databases. Three criteria were set: studies only in English, the maximum time limit as February 2020, and the age of researched students as 11–19 years. Twenty-seven relevant studies, mainly conducted in English speaking countries, were found. The review focuses especially on applied methods and results of studies. Results showed that quantitative methods prevailed over qualitative. Factors such as the personality of the teacher, teaching methods, and geography topics seemed the most important in the process of developing a positive image of geography.

This article aims to analyze the maturity evolution process of the stages of the corporate education system, listing the driving aspects of this process. To accomplish it, a qualitative research with a descriptive exploratory approach was carried out through an integrative review. The survey and systematic review were based on the analysis of existing scientific knowledge about "corporate education" and "evolution of the corporate education system". In the end, it is possible to list 25 driving factors for the evolution of the corporate education system to be considered by organizations that intend to reach the last stage of evolution, the Networked Corporate University (NCU), the most contemporary model proposed by the literature. In conclusion, this study brings theoretical contributions advancing on the existing theories and practices, as it can be considered that, when the Corporate Education System evolves towards the NCU stage, it will meet the context requirement that drives it to amplify the vision, beyond human capital, to social and relational capital.

The educational progress of an area is determined by the way the government manages its education system. Smart education is a learning concept that utilizes 21st-century skills by following the latest technological innovations. Not all regions are able and ready to implement the concept. This study utilizes the Systematic Review method to identify what factors need to be considered in implementing smart education based on previous studies. The research resulted in five main interrelated aspects of all the factors found in previous studies, namely technological aspects, data aspects, H.R. aspects, organizational aspects, and cost aspects. By paying attention to all the factors from these five aspects, it will increase the level of success of the government in implementing smart education.
