Abstract We construct a large class of gauge theories with extended supersymmetry on four-dimensional manifolds with a Killing vector field and isolated fixed points. We extend previous results limited to super Yang-Mills theory to general $$ \mathcal{N} $$ N = 2 gauge theories including hypermultiplets. We present a general framework encompassing equivariant Donaldson-Witten theory and Pestun’s theory on S4 as two particular cases. This is achieved by expressing fields in cohomological variables, whose features are dictated by supersymmetry and require a generalized notion of self-duality for two-forms and of chirality for spinors. Finally, we implement localization techniques to compute the exact partition function of the cohomological theories we built up and write the explicit result for manifolds with diverse topologies.

We describe q-deformation of the extended supersymmetry and construct q-extended supersymmetric Hamiltonian. For this purpose we formulate q-superspace formalism and construct q-supertransformation group. On this basis q-extended supersymmetric Lagrangian is built. The canonical quantization of this system is considered. The connection with multi-dimensional matrix representations of the parasupersymmetric quantum mechanics is discussed and q-extended supersymmetric harmonic oscillator is considered as a simplest example of the described constructions. We show that extended supersymmetric Hamiltonians obey not only extended SUSY but also the whole family of symmetries (q-extended supersymmetry) which is parametrized by continuous parameter q on the unit circle.

Irreducible Representations

The linear finite irreducible representations of the algebra of the 1D N-Extended Supersymmetric Quantum Mechanics are discussed in terms of their "connectivity" (a symbol encoding information on the graphs associated to the irreps). The classification of the irreducible representations with the same fields content and different connectivity is presented up to N ≤ 8.
