AbstractA dynamic simulation and modelling of ethylene bulk polymerization in an autoclave reactor are presented in this paper, based on a kinetic model. This simulation is done for mono- and bi-functional initiators, and results show that application of the bi-functional initiators cause an increase in ethylene conversion. The presented model shows very good results for high temperature and low temperature, in comparison with experimental data in the literature.
