A súlyos stressz hatására bekövetkező bal kamrai diszfunkció régóta ismert jelenség. Ennek a bal kamra apicalis dilatatiójával járó reverzíbilis formáját Sato és munkatársai 1990-ben történt első leírása nyomán „tako-tsubo”-cardiomyopathiának vagy ampulla-cardiomyopathiának hívják. Az erről szóló publikációkban mind a japán, mind az angolszász irodalomban szinte egyenlőségjelet tesznek a stressz-cardiomyopathia és a tako-tsubo-cardiomyopthia közé. Célkitűzés: A stressz indukálta reverzíbilis balkamra-diszfunkciós betegeink adatainak feldolgozásával tisztázni e kórkép lehetséges klinikai formáit és legjellemzőbb klinikai paramétereiket. Módszer: a 2002 és 2007 közötti, a Budai Irgalmasrendi Kórházban kezelt olyan betegek adatainak retrospektív feldolgozása, akiknél kimutatható volt a reverzíbilis balkamra-diszfunkció, és a koronarográfia negatív eredményt adott, valamint a klinikum és a laborparaméterek nem utaltak myocarditisre. Eredmények: Az elmúlt öt és fél évben összesen 6 olyan esetet találtunk, amelyek megfeleltek a fent leírt kritériumoknak. A betegek 55–80 év közötti nők voltak, akiknél öt esetben volt kimutatható oki tényezője a reverzíbilis balkamra-diszfunkciónak. Következtetések: A stressz indukálta cardiomyopathiának csak egyik formája a bal kamra csúcsi dilatációja, és ennek a csoportnak a fő közös jellemzője nem a tako-tsubo-szerű balkamra-tágulat, amely nincsen mindig jelen, hanem a szinte mindig meglévő QT-megnyúlás és negatív T-hullámok, amelyek a coronariabetegség nélküli akut, reverzíbilis balkamra-diszfunkciót néhány nappal követik megfigyeléseink és az irodalmi adatok alapján.

Our aim was to investigate and compare the effects of cooperating with either a friend or a stranger in a business context on trust and trustworthiness in 2 different cultures. In China, guanxi is a special form of personal relationship in which the exchange partners bond through reciprocal obligations. We conducted cooperation experiments based on the supply chain task in which Chinese and U.S. participants cooperated with their friends and with strangers. The results indicated that both Chinese and U.S. participants had higher levels of trust and trustworthiness for their friends than for strangers. Moreover, Chinese participants made a stronger distinction between friends and strangers than did U.S. participants. In addition, Chinese participants had lower levels of trust and trustworthiness than did U.S. participants. The cooperation experiments enrich the theoretical field of investigating the effects of personal relationships on cooperative trust and trustworthiness, and provide practical value to the management of business cooperation in different cultures.

AbstractDie actio quasi Publiciana im byzantinischen Recht. In literature, D. 17,1,57 has been extensively discussed. In this fragment the former owner could reclaim his property by using the actio Publiciana, notwithstanding that the defendants had in good faith acquired ownership by acquisitive prescription (usucapio). The actio Publiciana in D. 17,1,57 should be interpreted as a special form of the actio Publiciana, which was normally given to a possessor in good faith. From Basilica-scholia it can be deduced that this special action, mentioned as actio quasi Publiciana, also applies in other cases. In Justinianic and Byzantine law the judge had to evaluate whether it was right that the defendant could raise an exceptio iusti dominii against this special form of the actio Publiciana.

Given the idea that Life as we know it is nothing but a special form of a generically underlying dynamical structure within the physical Universe, we try to introduce a concept of Life that is not only derived from first principles of fundamental physics, but also metaphysically based on philosophical assumptions about the foundations of the world. After clarifying the terminology somewhat, especially with a view to differentiating reality from modality, we give an example for a mathematical representation of what the substance of reality (in the traditional sense of metaphysics) could actually mean today, discussing twistor theory as an example. We then concentrate on the points of structural emergence by discussing the emergence of dynamical systems and of Life as we know it, respectively. Some further consequences as they relate to meaning are discussed in the end.

In this paper, a modified generalized Lorenz-type system is introduced, which is state-equivalent to a simple and special form, and is parameterized by two parameters useful for chaos turning and system classification. More importantly, based on the parameterized form, two classes of new chaotic attractors are found for the first time in the literature, which are similar but nonequivalent in topological structure. To further understand the complex dynamics of the new system, some basic properties such as Lyapunov exponents, Hopf bifurcations and compound structure of the attractors are analyzed and demonstrated with careful numerical simulations.

The primary nucleus of the green alga Acetabularia grows about 25,000-fold in volume while it is separated from the endoplasmic reticulum and the whole cytoplasm by a special paranuclear cisterna of a vacuolar labyrinthum system which shows only very few (two to six per square micrometer) and small (ca. 40-120 nm in diamter) fenestrations. The nuclear envelope does not bear polyribosomes, nor do they occur in the entire zone intermediate between the nuclear envelope and the paranuclear cisterna. It is suggested that this special form of nuclear envelope growth takes place by assembly from cytoplasmically synthesized proteins that are translocated across the paranuclear cisterna in a nonmembrane-structured form.
