Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) adalah suatu jaringan area lokal tanpa kabel yang menggunakan frekuensi radio sebagai media transmisinya. Namun, keterbatasan jarak merupakan sebuah masalah yang dihadapi oleh perangkat WLAN ini. Jarak jangkauan sinyalnya yang terbatas sehingga memerlukan suatu solusi untuk memperluas jarak jangkauan sinyal tersebut. Pemanfaatan antena yagi sebagai penguat merupakan solusi dalam menjawab masalah keterbatasan jarak jangkauan WLAN.             Proses perancangan, perhitungan dan perakitan antena, untuk panjang setiap elemen antena director 5.62 cm, reflector 6.535 cm dan driven yang dipisahkan masing-masing 2.968 cm. Pengujian dilakukan pada kondisi cuaca cerah dan kondisi cuaca hujan serta untuk kondisi LOS dan Non LOS, dengan lokasi penelitian Gang Kasmin Jalan Raya Mandala Kabupaten Merauke.             Antena Yagi sebagai penguat yang beroperasi pada  frekuensi kerja WLAN yaitu 2400 MHz sebagai penguat dapat meningkatkan sinyal wifi dengan perolehan gain sebesar 3dB.

A new quad-band bandpass filter for Global System for Mobile Communications, Wireless Local Area Network, and Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access is designed and fabricated using the stub-loaded resonator (SLR) technology without complex fabrication process, such as via-hole or multi-layer substrate. Owing to the embedded SLR, the proposed quad-mode resonator is compact. Equivalent circuits of the proposed quad-mode resonator are analyzed in detail, and high design freedom is shown because of shifting the passband frequencies individually. Good passband selectivity and isolation of the each passband at 1.8, 2.4, 3.5, and 5.2 GHz can be well achieved due to the transmission zeros appeared near the each passband edges. Experimental results show good agreement with the simulated results.

A high isolation and compact microstrip diplexer for broadband and wireless local area network (WLAN) application is proposed in this paper. It is achieved by using the combination of a broadband bandpass filter (BPF) composed of one open stub and two short stubs of different size loaded in 50Ω feed lines. The tapped stub can not only generate two zeros to deepen the stopband, but also connect other BPF without deterioration of in-band performance. Hence, the compact diplexer combines two BPFs without extra junction matching network. The mutual loading effect approximately equivalent to a coupled resonator can create one zero at the passband edge to improve the isolation. The proposed microstrip diplexer is designed and fabricated, and it has a 1dB fractional bandwidths (FBW) of 60% at 3.5GHz for broadband channel and 3% at 5.8GHz for WLAN channel . The simulated and measured results are presented and good agreement is obtained.

Teknologi wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi) adalah bagian dari media komunikasi yang digunakan oleh banyak orang, seperti telepon dan TV, dengan teknologi wireless Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) yang lebih dikenal dengan sebutan Wi-Fi, telah meningkatkan mobilitas pengguna, dan dapat mengatasi keterbatasan teknologi jaringan komputer yang menggunakan media berkabel. PT. Tirta karya Buana adalah penyedia ISP (Internet Service Provider) yang terletak di kota Tangerang dan sekitarnya, untuk mendapatkan layanan berkualitas dan dampaknya terhadap kepuasan masyarakat, maka media promosi diperlukan dengan media utama dalam bentuk animasi.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menginformasikan produk/layanan dan untuk menarik minat orang. Manfaat adalah bahwa calon pelanggan dapat dengan mudah mengetahui informasi yang ada pada PT. Tirta Karya Buana metode penelitiannya adalah: metode wawancara, observasi, konsep produksi media (KPM). Hasil penelitian ini adalah media promosi yang mencakup informasi tentang: harga produk, produk dan jasa, serta lokasi. Animasi ini akan diimplementasikan melalui YouTube dan media sosial. Melalui Motion Graphic media promosi dalam rangka menarik konsumen sehingga dapat meningkatkan jumlah konsumen yang ingin menggunakan jasa internet di PT. Tirta karya Buana. Now a days in Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs) used in different fields because its well-suited simulator and higher flexibility. The concept of WLAN  with  advanced 5th Generation technologies, related to a Internet-of-Thing (IOT). In this project, representing the Network Simulator (NS-2) used linked-level simulators for Wireless Local Area Networks and still utilized IEEE 802.11g/n/ac with advanced IEEE 802.11ah/af technology. Realization of the whole Wireless Local Area Networking linked-level simulators inspired by the recognized Vienna Long Term Evolution- simulators. As a outcome, this is achieved to link together that simulator to detailed performances of Wireless Local Area Networking with Long Term Evolution, operated in the similar RF bands. From the advanced 5th Generation support cellular networking, such explore is main because different coexistences scenario can arise linking wireless communicating system to the ISM and UHF bands.

Microstrip antenna which designed with dual feeding at 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz can meet WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) application.Antenna fabrication use PCB FR4 double layer with thickness 1.6 mm and dielectric constant value 4.4. The length of patch antenna according to calculation 28.63 mm, but to get needed parameter length of patch should be optimized to 53 mm. After examination, this antenna has VSWR 1.212 at 2.42 GHz and 1.502 at 5.8 GHz, RL -13.94 dB at 2.42 GHz and -20.357 dB at 5.8 GHz, gain of antenna 6.16 dB at 2.42 GHz and 6.91 dB at 5.8 GHz, the radiation pattern is bidirectional. Keywords : microstrip antenna, wireless LAN, dual polarization, single feeding technique
