A difference equation is a relation between the differences of a function at one or more general values of the independent variable. These equations usually describe the evolution of certain phenomena over the course of time. The present paper deals with the existence and uniqueness of solutions of fractional difference equations.

In this article, we propose a coupled system of fractional difference equations with nonlocal fractional sum boundary conditions on the discrete half-line and study its existence result by using Schauder’s fixed point theorem. An example is provided to illustrate the results.

This paper is concerned with the existence and uniqueness of solutions for a boundary value problem of nonlinear fractionalq-difference equations with nonlocal integral boundary conditions. The existence results are obtained by applying some well-known fixed point theorems and illustrated with examples.

In this paper, we investigate the existence and uniqueness of solutions for a boundary value problem for second-order quantum (p,q)-difference equations with separated boundary conditions, by using classical fixed point theorems. Examples illustrating the main results are also presented.
