Eddy said that attention should be called to the growing tendency in the United States toward a bureaucratic form of government. Mr. Eddy referred to a law in New York state of this order which was abolished through the cooperative efforts of pharmacists and physicians. He also referred to a statement made recently in Congress-that "one in fifteen people is an employee of the Government; and these people who hold their jobs are making laws for our damnation.
