En la planeación de las próximas generaciones de redes inalámbricas es importante contar con estudios de radio propagación que permitan establecer diseños adecuados para ofrecer los servicios proyectados por las nuevas tecnologías a los usuarios móviles. En este artículo se presentan aspectos relacionados con el comportamiento de cobertura de radio propagación del modelo propuesto por el 3GPP (3rd Generation Partnership Project) para un entorno urbano en una red LTE (Long Term Evolution) empleando sistemas de antenas convencionales y sistemas de antena adaptativas (AAS). Para ello se utiliza la herramienta de software ICS Designer y se establece como escenario los alrededores la Fundación Universidad Autónoma de Colombia ubicada en el centro urbano de la ciudad de Bogotá D. C.

Developing a microcontroller-based system for controlling the flywheel motor of high-dynamics spacecraft using Russian-made parts and components made it possible to make statement of the problem of searching control function for a preset rotation rate of the flywheel rotor. This paper discusses one of the possible options for mathematical study of the stated problem, namely, application of structural analysis based on graph theory. Within the framework of the stated problem a graph was constructed for generating the new required rate, while in order to consider the stochastic case option the incidence and adjacency matrices were constructed. The stated problem was solved using a power matrix which transforms a set of contiguous matrices of the graph of admissible solution edge sequences, the real-time control function was found. Based on the results of this work, operational trials were run for the developed control function of the flywheel motor rotor rotation rate, a math model was constructed for the real-time control function, and conclusions were drawn about the feasibility of implementing the results of this study. In vision of searching for the right Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) for a specific mission, there are multiple factors to be considered by the operator such as mission, endurance, type of payload and range of the telemetry and control. This research is focusing on extending control range of the UAS by using 4G-LTE network to enable beyond-line-of-sight flying for the commercial UAS. Major UAS such Global Hawk, Predator MQ-1 are able to fly thousands of kilometers by the use of satellite communication. However, the satellite communication annual license subscription can be very expensive. With this situation in mind, a new type of flight controller with 4G-LTE communication has been developed and tested. Throughout the research, blended-wing-body (BWB) Baseline B2S is used as the platform for technology demonstrator. Result from this analysis has proven that the proposed system is capable to control a UAS from as far as United Kingdom, with a latency less than 881 ms in average. The new added capability can potentially give the commercial UAS community a new horizon to be able to control their UAS from anywhere around the world with the availability of 4G-LTE connection
