The migration of the transient electromagnetic method (TEM) has been a research topic for decades. The method, which uses the mathematical q transform to perform imaging in the wave domain, has proved its validity in some circumstances. One of the crucial steps of this kind of method is the inverse q transform, which extracts the pseudo-wave field that satisfies the wave equation from the TEM data. Conventionally, the time range of the q integral is divided into several windows and the transformation result is recovered using a regularization method, in which each window is summed up to get the final wave field. Although the recovered wave field demonstrates the key features as is indicated in the wave equation and the corresponding imaging techniques have proved to be useful, the accuracy of the extraction of these wave fields hampered the development of more accurate migration techniques. This paper will focus on the extraction of the wave field from the TEM data. A novel correlation stacking method was proposed and compared with singular value decomposition (SVD) and the pre-conditioned regularization conjugate gradient method. The comparison of the results from these methods demonstrates that the extraction results of the proposed correlation stacking method were more accurate and stable. The pseudo-seismic wave field extraction results of the actual measured TEM data showed that the correlation stacking method was the optimal method for the pseudo-seismic wave field extraction of TEM data. The article presents a space-time analysis of the seismic wave from a distributed career explosion. The method of direct measurement based on the dynamic model of the wave field is used to form an image of the seismic wave field in the field of quarry explosions. The efficiency of the proposed method is shown by the example of experimental seismic recording processing. The program "Nelumbo" is used to visualize the seismic field, which on the basis of experimental seismic records allows to form an image of the wave field in the space of the hemisphere, the center of which corresponds to the position of the seismometer (registration point). The algorithm of the program "Nelumbo" is based on the Huygens – Fresnel principle and Kirchhoff's theorem. The algorithm of the program allows to allocate from record of a seismic signal frames of a certain duration and to form the image of a wave field in space of a solid angle dimension π. This approach can be used as a tool to analyze the nature of the development of disturbances in the environment and the analysis of environmental risks in the production of blasting.

The Moment

Carrying out the forward modeling and one-dimensional apparent resistivity optimization calculation of TEM(transient electromagnetic method), theoretically verifies the the possibility that obtains the apparent resistivity in the full time domain under the condition of multiple offsets. By calculating the second derivative, Halley’s method can accelerate the iteration and make the function converge. The moment, offset and apparent resistivity are controlled by variable method. Halley’s method is used to iterate the moment, offset and apparent resistivity for completing the optimization calculation. In this paper, a conclusion will be finally drawn that the multi-offset TEM can get the apparent resistivity in the full time domain.
