According to the GH3044 nickel-based superalloy with high yield strength, a new approach for superalloy tube named Tube Solid Granules Medium Forming (SGMF) was present, and tube SGMF process principle and the mechanical model of solid granules were designed. The superalloy tube SGMF process was investigated numerically by using User subroutine of Abaqus software, the deforming simulations of two groups of tube products were performed separately, and the elongation rate and thickness distributions of the products were analyzed. An experimental system was designed and developed for tube SGMF, typical GH3044 superalloy tubes were deformed, good correlation was observed between the simulation results and experimental data.

The esterification of oleic acid with alkyl alcohols in solv ent-free systems was catalyzed by an immobilized lipase from Candida sp . 99-125. The influence of several factors, including enzyme concentration, temperature, molar ratio between oleic acid and alkyl alcohols, and structure of alcohol was also investigated. The results indicated that the reactions catalyzed by lipase at 20 o C, in the presence of 3% (w/w) lipase, on the molar ratio of 1:1 between oleic acid and alcohols, afforded products in high yield. It showed high selectivity to primary and low selectivity to secondary alcohols and tertiary alcohols because of the sterically hindered effect. Methanol has certain toxicity on the activity of the lipase. The lipase from Candida sp. 99-125 was identified to be an effective catalyst in the esterification of alcohol and oleic acid at low temperature.

Cowpea beans is grown under different edaphoclimatic conditions throughout Brazilian regions causing them to perform differently due to the influence that environments have on genotypes. Thus, it is necessary to obtain lines adapted to the specific cultivation environments so that it can present high yield. The objective of this work was to select cowpea lines through the GYT biplot multivariate analysis. The experiment was carried out in Bom Jesus de Itabapoana, Rio de Janeiro State, Brazil, in the 2016 and 2017 harvests. The randomized block design was performed with four replications and four lines per plot. Variance analyzes and biplot plots were applied for the number of days of flowering, final planting, harvest value, housing, pod yield, length, average number of beans per pod, average grain weight per pod and grain weight. The analysis of variance showed that there is genetic variability among the strains, requiring a detailed study to select those with the best agronomic performance. The first two major components of the biplot chart explained almost all of the variation between strains. All yield characteristics were negatively correlated with the set of productivity combinations with housing and number of days for flowering. Lines 3, 10, 4, 2, 6, 12, 7 and 11 showed better average performance for yield characteristics.

The present work reports theMetschnikowia koreensis-catalyzed one-pot deracemization of secondary alcohols/1,2-diols and their derivatives with in vivo cofactor regeneration. Reaction is stereoselective and proceeds with sequential oxidation of (R)-secondary alcohols to the corresponding ketones and the reduction of the ketones to (S)-secondary alcohols. Method is applicable to a repertoire of racemic aryl secondary alcohols and 1,2-diols establishing a wide range of substrate specificity ofM. koreensis. This ecofriendly method afforded the product in high yield (88%) and excellent optical purity (>98%ee), minimizing the requirement of multistep reaction and expensive cofactor.

Non-destructive tools for the in situ evaluation of vine fruit quality and vineyard management can improve the market value of table grape. We proposed a new approach based on a portable fluorescence sensor to map the ripening level of Crimson Seedless table grape in five different plots in the East, Central-North and South of the Macedonia Region of Greece. The sensor provided indices of ripening and color such as SFRR and ANTHRG correlated to the chlorophyll and anthocyanin berry contents, respectively. The mean ANTHRG index was significantly different among all the plots examined due to the occurrence of different environmental conditions and/or asynchronous ripening processes. The indices presented moderate, poor in some cases, spatial variability, probably due to a significant vine-to-vine, intra-vine and intra-bunch variability. The cluster analysis was applied to the plot with the most evident spatial structure (at Kilkis). Krigged maps of the SFRR, ANTHRG and yield were classified by k-means clustering in two-zones that differed significantly in their mean values. ANTHRG and SFRR were inversely correlated over 64% of the plot. SFRR appeared to be a potential useful proxy of yield since it was directly correlated to yield over 66% of the plot. The grape color (ANTHRG) was slightly higher over the low-yield zones with respect to the high-yield zones. Our study showed that the combination of anthocyanins and chlorophyll indices detected in the field on Crimson Seedless table grape by a portable fluorescence sensor can help in defining the best harvest time and the best areas for harvesting.
