Possibilities of legal regulation of cyber bullying are considered in modern conditions. Aggressive behavior in the Internet space is gaining momentum in its distribution among adolescents not only in Russia but throughout the world. Cyber bullying is one of the newest, most dangerous, and also depressing emotional states of a teenager in terms of the consequences of the risk they face. The concept of “cyber bullying” is considered; its forms are specified; proposals aimed at neutralizing the bullying that occurs among adolescents in the Internet space are formulated.

Many immigrants experience acculturation stress, which arises from the difficulties and conflicts immigrants face as they adjust to a new culture. Without the support of prevention and intervention services, acculturation stress can result in an increased risk for aggressive behavior and mental health problems. Entre Dos Mundos/Between Two Worlds is an acculturation-based intervention that uses psychodrama, sociodrama, and sociometric techniques to decrease acculturation stress among Latino immigrant adolescents and their parents. An example of an Entre Dos Mundos group session presented in this article illustrates the application of psychodrama and sociometric techniques and discusses their utility in decreasing acculturation stress and promoting biculturalism.

The work carried out a study of the current problem of minimizing risks and damage from aggressive impacts on the Internet, in social networks. The methodology of system and forensic analysis has been used. Using methods of mathematical and information-logical analysis, comparative and cognitive analysis of counteraction to aggressive impact on the visitor or owner of the site (moderator of the forum) is carried out. Methods of aggressive behavior (disinhibition, trolling, cyber-bullying and astroturfing), their local and global goals - up to the capture and management of communicative resources for the purpose of affecting the user - have been analyzed. Aggressiveness on the site has become a public problem, legally not only in Vietnam, but also in many countries, including Russia, France, South Korea, etc. Hosting distances itself from an important problem for it as well. The aggressiveness of a site is classified by the site's aggressiveness scale. Criminological identification of aggression and aggressor is a complex and multidimensional problem. Was carried out systemic and practical, criminological analysis of aggressive behavior on sites. Was possible to formulate and propose measures, approaches to filtering and combating aggressive behavior on the site, as well as to formalize it mathematically, for subsequent research. The analysis will help to counter the aggressor and support the victim.

Humans are social animals; consequently, a lack of social ties affects individuals’ health negatively. However, the desire to belong differs between individuals, raising the question of whether individual differences in the need to belong moderate the impact of perceived social isolation on health. In the present study, 77 first-year university students rated their loneliness and health every 6 weeks for 18 weeks. Individual differences in the need to belong were found to moderate the relationship between loneliness and current health state. Specifically, lonely students with a high need to belong reported more days of illness than those with a low need to belong. In contrast, the strength of the need to belong had no effect on students who did not feel lonely. Thus, people who have a strong need to belong appear to suffer from loneliness and become ill more often, whereas people with a weak need to belong appear to stand loneliness better and are comparatively healthy. The study implies that social isolation does not impact all individuals identically; instead, the fit between the social situation and an individual’s need appears to be crucial for an individual’s functioning.

Abstract. The quality of health services depends on the contribution of all the professionals involved in the system, including certain groups, usually forgotten and underrated, such as the health-transport technicians (HTT). With the aim of improving this group's performance, an intervention program, focusing on the development of the workers' technical and social skills, was designed in a collective of enterprises. Information about the first stage of this program, consisting of the assessment of these workers' social skills, is offered in this study. A specific questionnaire was developed: The Health-Transport Technicians Social Skills Questionnaire (HTT-SSQ), made up of three scales (assertive, passive, and aggressive behavior). It was administered to a large sample (N = 530) from the above-mentioned association. The psychometric properties of the questionnaire were analyzed, with quite satisfactory indexes of internal consistency and factor validity, and the group's deficiencies (excess or deficit) were evaluated.

This article explores commonly discussed theories of violent video game effects: the social learning, mood management, and catharsis hypotheses. An experimental study was carried out to examine violent video game effects. In this study, 103 young adults were given a frustration task and then randomized to play no game, a nonviolent game, a violent game with good versus evil theme (i.e., playing as a good character taking on evil), or a violent game in which they played as a “bad guy.” Results indicated that randomized video game play had no effect on aggressive behavior; real-life violent video game-playing history, however, was predictive of decreased hostile feelings and decreased depression following the frustration task. Results do not support a link between violent video games and aggressive behavior, but do suggest that violent games reduce depression and hostile feelings in players through mood management.

We examined the cross-cultural equivalence of a widely used instrument that assesses perceived parental rearing, the EMBU-C, among native Dutch and immigrant adolescents living in The Netherlands. The results of a multigroup confirmatory factor analysis indicated that the factor structure of the EMBU-C, consisting of three latent factors (Warmth, Rejection, and Overprotection), and reliabilities of these scales are similar in both samples. These findings lend further support for the factorial and construct validity of this instrument. The comparison of perceived child rearing between native Dutch and immigrant adolescents showed cultural differences in only one of the assessed dimensions: Immigrant adolescents perceive their parents as more overprotective than do Dutch adolescents.
