The noise of different points in four sections of Shenzhen subway was tested by this paper. Real-time SPL and noise spectrum distribution curves at bogie were given, while the equivalent SPL curve was also shown. The relationship of subway speed and noise SPL was investigated. The regular of noise spectrum characteristics and SPL was obtained. The results show that the noise SPL increases with the increase of the speed. Looking from the frequency range, the frequency corresponding to larger noise SPL amplitude mainly concentrates in the lower frequency while the subway stopping, the frequency corresponding to larger noise SPL amplitude mainly concentrates in high frequency while the subway running.

The use of electronic monitoring (EM) has grown rapidly in Europe and elsewhere and is likely to continue to do so. EM is a technological tool that allows to monitor the location of individuals via an electronic ankle tag, to track the movements of individuals either in real time or retrospectively. This special issue of the European Journal of Probation focuses on the relationship of EM with supervision in four jurisdictions (Belgium, Germany, The Netherlands and Scotland) and the question whether EM is mainly used as a stand-alone order or as an integrated measure; that is, alongside other supervisory conditions. It also contains a contribution with an initial round up of Australian experiences with EM.

This paper presents an Information Structure (IS) model at the information packaging (IPk) level and its usage in utterance partitioning and in explaining semantic IS category realizations at the pragmatic level. The IPk model proposes a hierarchical view of F0 contours that transforms utterances into binary contrast unit (CU) hierarchies. CUs have binary IPk partitions with two independent and overlapping structures and a nuclear element which project its IPk functions to the whole units it belongs to. Two nuclear accent identification rules are formulated in this paper in order to be used in decoding IPk partition hierarchy by F0 contour analysis. In the second part of the paper several intonational contours of English sentences, having different semantic IS events, are interpreted by correlating semantic IS analysis results with those of the IPk model-based analysis. By decoding IPk structure and functional constituents from F0 contours we can advance our knowledge about the relationship between prosody and intonational meaning.

Green ecological concrete is a new type of building material. It is important to study the relationship of the green ecological concrete between stresses and strains. In the paper, some constitutive models which are suitable to the green ecological concrete are introduced. These models include the linear elastic constitutive model, cauchy model, kuper-gerstle model, constitutive model based on the rheological theory, constitutive model based on plastic fracture theory etc. The constitutive model based on the rheological theory well describes the mechanical properties of the green ecological concrete.

The aim of the present study was to specify the relationship of gestational period with measurement of Crown-Rump length and Bi-parietal diameter via trans-abdominal ultrasonography in goats. This study was conducted in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Diyala University. The study was carried out on twelve multiparous does, their ages were between 2-5 years. Does were synchronized for estrus with PGF2α (Estrumate) at 11 days apart and naturally served to obtain pregnancy (estrus day=day 0), and subsequently Ultrasonic scanned. Weekly ultrasonographic examinations were performed using 3.5-5MHz sector transducer, from week (5-10) and (6-14) of pregnancy for measuring the Crown-Rump length and Bi-parietal diameter, respectively. The results clearly demonstrated that the relationship between gestational age and Crown-Rump length or Bi-parietal diameter were highly significant (P<0.01). The Crown-Rump length was strongly positively correlated with gestational age (R2=0.99) followed by the Bi-parietal diameter (R2=0.95). In conclusion, the gestational age of goats can be accurately estimated by trans-abdominal ultrasonography measuring of fetal Crown-Rump length and Bi-parietal diameter during first and second trimester of pregnancy.
