The study of games in education is not new, from traditional games to modern website-based games have been done. Studies have even proved that traditional games have more proven value and benefits in the long run for education than modern games. However, the fact that the quality of education in various countries of the world is uneven, although they also know and have traditional games as part of its cultural elements. Like one of them can be seen in the quality of basic education in Indonesia, especially in the ability of thinking high level is still low. Moreover, in the 21st century students are required to have global skills of the 21st century. From this point the need to be studied about how the traditional Javanese games, as one of the greatest cultural heritages in Indonesia, can serve as a strategy to cultivate 21st century global skills for madrasah ibtidaiyah / primary school. This research is done by literature study with the method of textual criticism and external critic and then continued with synthesis. The findings of this study indicate that some traditional Javanese games are basically potential as a strategy to cultivate 21st century skills. This is not apart because the characteristics and form of some traditional Javanese game contains characteristics of 21st century skills that include critical thinking, communication, cooperation, and creativity.

Through postcolonial criminological lens, this article attempts to evidence the domination of knowledge in criminology of Crimes of the powerful in the Global North and Anglo-language countries, and whether this domination translates into an influence of knowledge in Latin America and the Caribbean in the 21st century. To address this, a scoping review search was developed to find research articles focused on Crimes of the powerful both globally and in Latin American countries, and a citation analysis performed on specific studies. Inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied as a search strategy. The results demonstrate that a high level of concentration exists in the production of knowledge of Crimes of the powerful studies in the Global North and Anglo-language countries compared to the Global South and non-Anglo-language countries, and also evidence the high level of influence of knowledge that Global North countries have on Latin American studies.

The problem of municipal waste management is one of the greatest challenges of the 21st century. Its solution requires the integrated involvement of central and local authorities as well as the public. For their actions to be fully effective, they must be accompanied by an increase in environmental awareness. The aim of the study was to assess the environmental awareness and knowledge of inhabitants of eastern Mazovia regarding municipal waste management. A survey study was carried out on a group of 262 individuals using a questionnaire. Analysis of the results showed that the surveyed inhabitants of eastern Mazovia were aware of problems associated with municipal waste management, but some of them were critical of the actions taken by central and municipal authorities to solve them. Their high level of environmental awareness and knowledge was evidenced by the fact that most of those surveyed were familiar with the principles of selective collection of municipal waste, including green and hazardous waste.

There can be no peace without democratization and intercultural dialogue, which due to their importance lead to the ultimate result of what is called the union of civilizations among nations. In this regard, it is interesting to consider the issues of democratization and intercultural dialogue in Turkey in 21st century. In order to reach a high level of democratic development, any state needs a strong society and political will. At the beginning of the 20th century, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk (1881-1938), the founder of the Turkish Republic, took the course of state development of the country to the West and declared the path of Europeanization as the main principle of unchanging domestic and foreign policy. The current events in Turkey in the first decade of 21st century have shown that the country is developing as a strong state. So, it is interesting to observe how the Republican Turkey will continue to pursue democratic and European values and to support the state rule of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. For Turkey and its leader, Islam is a tool that helps to stabilize the political system and transform Turkey into a traditional, conservative society with fewer opportunities to generate protests related to social, ethnic and other civil rights. The coming decades will show whether the country with a Muslim culture will be able to adapt to a democratic Western civilization and what the consequences will be.

Improving technology and materials in glass production for the 21st century supposes implementation of high-level innovations. These innovations are necessary not to be only developed, produced and set up but also their qualities and perspectives need to be evaluated so that the ratio of their application is increased. The application ratio of developed innovations lies among 1-3% at present. All stages of glass processing like melting, forming or cold working have mostly limitations of its own further development which are necessary to be detected so that further possibility of innovation can be predicted. At present it is not sufficient to have only theoretic and expert knowledge of the field and IT applications but it is necessary to know the methods of creative thinking for achievement and application of required innovation. Understanding of the system of creative thinking makes possible to better and faster adapt to real life practice which changes very fast. TRIZ (Theory of Inventive Problem Solving) is a powerful method of creative technical thinking which originated by studying patents and by generalization of successful process solving. The method TRIZ makes possible to find a correct formulation of a task out of unclearly described situation as well as to solve the newly re-formulated task by using unique strong instruments of the TRIZ method [1]. Application of the TRIZ method is supported by a unique SW designed for collection of information, analyses, synthesis of solutions and verification of the found solutions. Practical examples of using the TRIZ method will be presented in the contribution on chosen glass technologies.

Introduction: Burnout is one of the most challenging questions of the healthcare systems in the 21st century. Aim: The aim of this study was to analyze the Hungarian physicians’ burnout and its associations with workload factors (work hours, shift work, multiple workplaces). Method: Data of this representative, cross-sectional, online epidemiological study was obtained from online questionnaires completed by 4784 physicians. Results: Medium or high level personal accomplishment was present in 75.9% and emotional exhaustion in 58% among physicians, while medium or high level of depersonalization subscale was 53%. All of the 3 dimensions showed association with young ages (<35 years), work in in-patient care, shift hours and multiple workplaces. The physician partner increased the risk of depersonalization, however, children were protective factors. The work–home interface was associated with higher burnout scores. Conclusions: Physicians’ burnout is an important indicator of the functioning and effectiveness of the healthcare system. The results suggest the importance of prevention and intervention. Orv. ABSTRACTMost national high-level waste (HLW) disposal programs actually reflect, or are based on, concepts which were developed during the '70s or early '80s. Although suitable for demonstration of concept feasibility, designs of the engineered barrier system (EBS) do not take into account the tremendous developments in system understanding and materials technology over the last two decades, the practicality (and cost) of their quality assurance and implementation on an industrial scale and the transparency of the demonstration of the safety case. In many ways, due to the increased significance of popular acceptance over the last decade, the last point may be of particular relevance. This paper reviews the work already carried out on “2nd generation” concepts and extends this to identify the key attributes of an ideal design for the specific case of disposal of vitrified HLW from reprocessing in a “wet” host rock (either crystalline or sedimentary). Based on the concept developed, key R&D requirements are identified.

The article reveals the problems that appear in linguistics of the 21st century, in particular, in terminology in direction of forming foreign language competent specialists. The works focus on the issue of the modern state of Ukrainian terminology in the mining industry. In the study, it is analysed the original material, it is monitored the present thesauruses of the mining industry of different types as well as translated ones. The authors present in brief the short description of the basic achievement of Ukrainian terminography in the mining industry starting with the middle of the 19th century till the present. The scientists have clearly stated the dependence of the development of terminography in the field of Ukrainian mining on the lingual and extra-lingual factors. Particular attention is paid to the problem of the absence of mining dictionaries (both monolingual and multilingual) in modern linguistics, which undoubtedly negatively affects the process of formation of foreign language communicative competence of the specialists of the future mining industry. The relevance of the article isdue to the urgent need to provide students of institutions of higher education with new innovative technologies for the formation of foreign language communicative competence and the search for modern approaches during the educational process in the educational institutions of both mining and humanities profiles. After all, the 21st century requires specialists in any field of human activities (as well as the mining one) to expand opportunities for intercultural communication, to deepen their knowledge of achievements in a particular field (including the mining one) by means of language communication, etc. All this becomes possible only under the condition of the formation of the number of competences, in particular, communicative. Creating and developing the e-dictionarywill enable free communication between representatives of different countries for the purpose of taking on the experience gained during the professional activity, as well as in the field of the mining industry, and will be worth representing the achievements of the domestic industry at the world stage. The high level of foreign language proficiency of graduates of Ukrainian universities will contribute to affirming the positive educational and scientific image of our country.
