This part of the paper is aimed at the development of models for the drill tip’s transverse and angular motions, the definition of models for establishing the drilled hole’s profile and, by combining these results with the dynamic force models of Part 1, the formulation of the complete model for drill skidding and wandering. An experimental verification of the models concludes the paper. For the development of the drill motion models the drill is simplified as a pretwisted beam subjected to a compressive axial load and radial forces acting on its tip. The governing equations are developed using Hamilton’s principle. Subsequently, the weak form of the governing equation is formulated to facilitate their solution by the finite element method. The corresponding boundary conditions for the motion model are also defined for three drilling phase, i.e., drill skidding, drill wandering and stabilized drilling. Based on the drill tip’s wandering locus and drill rotation, a mathematical model for describing the drilled hole’s profile is developed.

Transportation is equipment which absorbs energy. In the era of the energy rising prices one seeks solutions that can result in savings due to reduced energy consumption. The world of science and industry is continuously looking for savings in this area. In simple logic, we can talk about savings when there is a reduction in kerb weight of driven object. This paper presents an optimization method that can be used to reduce the weight of vehicles. Mass optimization is a process that has to be conducted on basing on the assumed criteria and, as in the case described here, the normative requirements. Presented process begins with the definition of the area to be analysed and then decomposition and selecting the typical construction nodes after that continues to picking library solutions based on which, the selection algorithm is built. User calls back the criteria and selects it interesting solution: the extreme: a light and expensive, heavy and cheap or many other combinations. The study aimed to achieve the effect of optimization based on computational methods in the final stage of the experimental verification, depending on the case.

The purpose of the article is a comprehensive study of the problems of establishing the guilt of a person in the offense committed by means of pre-trial investigation by investigators, prosecutors and other persons authorized to do so, as well as establishing the lawfulness of such procedural actions. According to the purpose, it is substantiated that the investigative review is a visual inspection by the authorized persons of the object with the purpose of revealing the traces of the crime, the objects related to its commission, as well as the information about the fact and mechanism of its commission reflected in the features of this object and other circumstances relevant to the proceedings. It is established that the factual basis for the review is primarily data that indicate the possibility of detecting on the body of the person traces of the offense or special signs. Its special procedural basis is the motivated decision of the prosecutor. Procedural actions such as corpse exhumation, investigative experiment and forensic examination have been considered and analyzed. In the process of researching the topic, the authors conclude that in Ukraine the legality and objectivity of investigative actions needs to be more clearly enshrined in law. In particular, the authors propose an additional list of objects of the investigative review and the definition of the investigative examination, the separation of the actual grounds for conducting the examination, the approval of the provisions on the mandatory participation of those understood during the exhumation of the corpse as the investigator, the definition and actual reasons for conducting the investigative experiment as an action, the purpose of which is the experimental verification or refinement of factual data obtained in the course of the investigation, as well as the determination and factual basis of the conduct and appointment of forensic expertise.

Overwetting of enclosing structures is a negative factor of their operation. Due to the fact that it reduces thermal protection, it causes the corrosion processes and leads to enclosing structures materials destruction on account of alternating freezing and thawing. Present investigations on the analysis of condensation of moisture vapor and moist condition of enclosing structures does not allow for definition of overwetting rate of enclosures in the preset climate. These questions are also not regulated in the current normative documents. Enclosing structures developed as a result of conservation of energy have unpredictable accumulation of condensation and overwetting rate under service conditions. The article examines a new concept «dew point temperature» that is a characteristic of construction solution of enclosing structures and used materials. The dew point temperature is numerically equal to external temperature at which we can observe condensation in-plane of maximum overwetting of enclosing structures for the first time. It was demonstrated that every construction solution of enclosure has its own dew point temperature, according to which the amount of condensation in identical climatic conditions will be formed. The result of investigation is the assumption about the introduction of a new characteristic called «dew point temperature of enclosing structure» into the scientific discourse and into the check-list of mandatory thermotechnical values of enclosing structures. The dew point temperature describes the capacity of construction solution of enclosure for overwetting in the preset climatic conditions.

Cited in the reference literature, empirical formula is usually acceptable for standard materials processed. When new materials have to repeat the experiments again. The article presents the analytical relationships derived from the generalization of the work of Russian and American scientists, in particular: VF Bobrov, NI Lvov, VS Kushner, a Merchant ME, Astakhov, V.P. These relationships relate the values of the components of the cutting force with time and the actual yield strength of the material being processed, making it much easier to calculate the components of the experiment of cutting force in turning based on the radius of curvature of the cutting edge and tool wear on the rear surface. Shrinkage factor chips taken approximately equal to one. Experimental verification showed acceptability found dependences for practical use, particularly important in the processing of materials of new brands.
